REMEMBER, REMEMBER DAY What a great success. Thank you to Zara for organising. The children have had a great day. Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work.
TEACHER DROP INS Over the next 4 weeks we would like every teacher to drop in on two other colleagues for 20 minutes of an English lesson. The idea is to share good practice and have a professional discussion about what you have seen. Due to recent training the focus is to be on 'writing'. Please organise between yourselves and then arrange cover when required. At the end of the 4 weeks we'll be asking for feedback on the impact the visit has had on your teaching.
PARENTAL FEEDBACK FROM AUTUMN TERM QUESTIONNAIRE Please have a look at the comments and school responses from the recent parent questionnaire. It can be found here and there are lots of positive comments that show what a wonderful job we're all doing at school.
PHONICS Was a huge success. Lot's of progress being made so a big well done to all involved. Please implement any strategies given and utilise the videos. Any questions? See GW.
FIRE DRILL All went well earlier this week but please ensure all doors are closed when leaving the class/building.
STAFF WORKLOAD QUESTIONNAIRE Thanks to the many that completed the workload questionnaire. There were some interesting responses and some constructive points made where the school can support a better work life balance. MK has spoken personally to some members of staff and additional actions moving forward will be shared at a future staff meeting.
NATIONAL COLLEGE Please make sure you go onto the National College and watch the training videos that have been set. Prevent training should have been completed by all members of staff before half term. Where possible, arrange with other members of the class for cover so that time can be spent watching the training.
FIRST AID TRAINING from the National College is to be completed before the end of November by all members of staff that are not first aiders.
STAFF MEETING Is on Tuesday instead of Wednesday please.
STAFF MEETING next week is going to be looking at OFSTED type questions as subject leaders.
FRIDAY FORUM next Friday is ..... Maths

LFD TESTING Please continue to take the tests and submit your results to https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result . Karen Slatford needs to know about any tests that come back as inconclusive.
TWITTER Please keep on tweeting the amazing work you're doing.
COURSE FEEDBACK A reminder for all staff that if you attend a course (even via zoom) please can you complete the online form feeding back on how useful the course was. This is our way at school of tracking the impact of any training attended and also highlights what may need sharing with other staff in the school. The link is below but can also be found as a button near the bottom of every bulletin. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAJYp2DQ8_3IF4CbUroJyoboOayyqBkiFv_BsFl3PWQQmQmA/viewform?usp=sf_link
LADDERS Putting up a display? Please make sure you’re using ladders and not chairs and tables.
Seen anything of a CONCERN? Please fill in the appropriate form in the staff room and hand in to the office as soon as possible.
Use CPOMS to record anything that is of a concern. However, if you feel it's significant and needs to be dealt with asap, please speak to Jane or Gemma.
If you see someone in school that you don't know - without a pass - please challenge them and ask them who they are!
Make sure you're always wearing a pass!
Remind children that staff have a blue pass and visitors have a sticker.
Keep completing these online forms to feedback on courses, trips, visits and drop ins. This includes visits to other schools, collaborative groups…etc. It helps us keep an impact on any CPD that takes place.
