DATA AND PUPIL PROGRESS MEETINGS Will be taking place in the first couple of weeks back - data will be handed out at the staff meeting on Wednesday and copies of sheets will be emailed over to staff.
EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS - WE NEED YOUR HELP! We would like to give our pupils a number of opportunities to attend a range of extra curricular clubs after school. If you're interested in running one over the Spring term - please let MK know as soon as possible. Some ideas: Board game club, lego club, podcasting, friendship club, writing club, maths problem solving club, singing, drama.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY is next Thursday. Wear your Woolies
CHURCH SERVICE - THURSDAY The service is due to start at 9.30am and should last no longer than one hour. Y6 and the choir will be taking us through the service with Fr Philip. Please set off with Reception and Y6 followed by all other classes in the usual order.
SONGS PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE Can KS2 classes please keep practising the songs that are in the carol service - we have no assembly time beforehand so any spare time can be used to rehearse the songs. They're on the staff drive.

SECRET SANTA - FRIDAY Secret Santa is going to be on Friday 17th at 2.20pm in the KS2 resource area. During the achievement assembly, Mr Kemp and Mrs Whalen will swap halfway through, Please have your secret Santa in the office by Friday morning next week, so I can check and make sure everyone has one.
FRIDAY - CHRISTMAS PARTIES The order of parties is on the calendar and detailed below. Each class has a 30 minute slot in the hall. Classes are welcome to double up if they wish. Santa will be coming in the morning - we'll let you know the time nearer the day. Children and staff are welcome to wear their party clothes!

DECORATIONS AND RETURN TO NORMAL SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT Before everyone leaves on Friday please ensure classrooms and shared areas are back to normal and all decorations are down. If this can be done on Thursday night - that would be perfect because decorations can then be put into the school loft on Friday morning. We need to make sure school is tidy and ready for the pupils returning in January.
AUTUMN TERM REPORTS are to be sent out next Wednesday for Y1-6. You will be given the envelopes and reports printed out. We will not be sending any target sheets out - however, parents will be directed to the curriculum site which has copies of the blank targets.
PHONICS ASSESSMENTS Year 1 will be assessed next. If you run a phonics group in KS2, then please speak to Becky to arrange having your children assessed. Also, well done to Year 2, who achieved above national :)
REGISTERS please save them! The office are waiting each morning to see who is here and chase up who is not. So please be more timely with this. Also, there has been a few instances where children are marked either in when they are out, or out when they are in - so please be careful. You can imagine the difficulties and confusion/extra work that this simple mistake would cause.

COURSE FEEDBACK A reminder for all staff that if you attend a course (even via zoom) please can you complete the online form feeding back on how useful the course was. This is our way at school of tracking the impact of any training attended and also highlights what may need sharing with other staff in the school. The link is below but can also be found as a button near the bottom of every bulletin. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAJYp2DQ8_3IF4CbUroJyoboOayyqBkiFv_BsFl3PWQQmQmA/viewform?usp=sf_link
LADDERS Putting up a display? Please make sure you’re using ladders and not chairs and tables.
Seen anything of a CONCERN? Please fill in the appropriate form in the staff room and hand in to the office as soon as possible.
Use CPOMS to record anything that is of a concern. However, if you feel it's significant and needs to be dealt with asap, please speak to Jane or Gemma.
If you see someone in school that you don't know - without a pass - please challenge them and ask them who they are!
Make sure you're always wearing a pass!
Remind children that staff have a blue pass and visitors have a sticker.
Keep completing these online forms to feedback on courses, trips, visits and drop ins. This includes visits to other schools, collaborative groups…etc. It helps us keep an impact on any CPD that takes place.
