TRAINING See you all in the hall tomorrow for the RWI training. Karen has took the breakfast orders :) The trainer will arrive at 8am and will park by the hall door. Please bring your visors to the training (just in case) and sit in your year group bubbles facing the board, ideally in pairs. Please sit at least one metre apart from other bubbles and the trainer. The training will begin at 9am prompt and finish at 3.15pm. There will then be an SLT meeting until 3.45 with the trainer.
RISK ASSESSMENT If you notice anything of concern then please report it to SLT.
CLUBS are not going ahead. There has not been enough children signing up.
SIMS MARKSHEETS Please note that marksheets for 2020-21 are now available on SIMS for BIG Maths, Maths CLIC, WRH Termly tests, Reading and Spelling Tests. There is an additional column for reading and White Rose Hub tests so you can record children's results that they achieve over the next few weeks - using last year's summer tests.
STAFF MEETINGS The minutes are available on the staff drive. However, I've added a link if you click on the staff meeting on 'Google Calendar'. The file is available online as a Google Doc. This will help everyone access minutes from meetings we have through the year. Again, a different staff member each week will be asked to be the clerk.
PUPIL VOICE ELECTIONS NEXT WEEK Please ask the children to fill out a form if they wish to apply for the school council or Eco council. They then need to read out their 'speech' at the end of the week and the class do a blind vote. Please then pass the winner to Mrs Whalen before Friday's achievement assembly - where they will be read out. (From year 1 upwards) . (We will pass the blank voting forms to each teacher on Monday).
THE WRITE STUFF TRAINING FOR TEACHERS THURSDAY 17TH Is cancelled :( Jane Considine can't visit schools due to Covid-19. So we have dedicated some out of class for all teachers on 2nd October in the afternoon to work on development and training 'in house'. Please could TA 2s kindly cover this :)
IEPs Please make sure that next week an IEP is in place for each child that needs one and that some work has begun on them.
