INSET DAY FRIDAY 22ND OCTOBER The school will be closed for all pupils on this day to allow us fully focus on THE WRITE STUFF training. We are very lucky and excited to have JANE CONSIDINE herself presenting the training. In order to have her here in person all staff will be making a prompt START at 8AM, this then allows us to finish at 2pm ready for a well deserved break. We will also be providing Costco goodies for breakfast and lunch. Please be ready to start with note pads and pens in the hall on Friday morning to give Jane a big Parkfield welcome!
MATHS PASSPORT GP will be talking to all TAs this week about the maths passport assessment that is to be completed next week. This will given an insight into how well children are meeting the expectations and help identify those that need additional support.
FIRST AID TRAINING from the National College is to be completed before the end of November by all members of staff that are not first aiders.
ACCEPTABLE USE AGREEMENT needs to be signed by all staff and then handed to the office please.
REMINDER - PREVENT TRAINING Before October half term all members of staff must complete the PREVENT training that's found on the National College. A link will be emailed and the course can be accessed on your hub when you log into the National College. This course is 30 minutes and includes a 'simple' assessment at the end. Please find time to complete - this may include helping cover one another so that the training can be watched. Warning - it's not the most exciting training you'll ever complete!
RECEPTION, Y1, Y2 As always, please be mindful that these are classrooms where the children are learning. Please stop all conversations at the door before you walk through. Please don't walk through whilst chatting as it disturbs the children's learning. Thank you!

TWITTER Please keep on tweeting the amazing work you're doing.
COURSE FEEDBACK A reminder for all staff that if you attend a course (even via zoom) please can you complete the online form feeding back on how useful the course was. This is our way at school of tracking the impact of any training attended and also highlights what may need sharing with other staff in the school. The link is below but can also be found as a button near the bottom of every bulletin. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAJYp2DQ8_3IF4CbUroJyoboOayyqBkiFv_BsFl3PWQQmQmA/viewform?usp=sf_link
LADDERS Putting up a display? Please make sure you’re using ladders and not chairs and tables.
Seen anything of a CONCERN? Please fill in the appropriate form in the staff room and hand in to the office as soon as possible.
Use CPOMS to record anything that is of a concern. However, if you feel it's significant and needs to be dealt with asap, please speak to Jane or Gemma.
If you see someone in school that you don't know - without a pass - please challenge them and ask them who they are!
Make sure you're always wearing a pass!
Remind children that staff have a blue pass and visitors have a sticker.
Keep completing these online forms to feedback on courses, trips, visits and drop ins. This includes visits to other schools, collaborative groups…etc. It helps us keep an impact on any CPD that takes place.
