TESTING OVER EASTER Please continue to take the LFT over the Easter period and report the results to the NHS. Also, please let MK know as soon as possible if you do test positive!
SCHOOL OPENING OVER EASTER School will have limited opening over the Easter period if you do need to come in. Alan / Chris will be in school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the first week between 9am and 2pm.
THANKS LOUISE AND Y4 Thanks to Louise and Y4 for their hard work in organising and presenting today's Easter assembly - our first (and hopefully final) via zoom.
PARKFIELD CHARACHTER ASSEMBLY Will be on the first day back - next terms focus is 'Confident'. Have a think of ways how you can get children to develop their 'confidence' in your lessons.
THANK YOU For all of your hard work this term. Next term will hopefully look and feel more normal for us all. Have a great Easter and a very well deserved break.

ZPD NUMBERS Please explain to children how they use 'decimal numbers' to check that they understand HOW to choose a book that is in their ZPD range. We will circulate a poster to be displayed near your bookshelf, which may also help any children who are struggling with decimal numbers.
END OF TERM REPORTS A reminder that we will not be sending these out this term although effort grades and teacher assessments for Spring have to be input onto SIMS by Friday 30th April. (2 weeks after Easter)
POLLING DAY - THURSDAY 6th MAY You will be aware that we will be closed to pupils on Thursday 6th May. I'm also not expecting staff into school on the day this year because the public will be in the building. On the day pupils can be set work on myOn and Mathletics. There will be a staff zoom call from 9.15am - 10.15am with the remainder of the day for additional admin time, PPA and subject leadership.
PHONICS AND READING Gemma W will be popping into classes to support with phonics or guided reading. It is to ensure we have a whole school approach in place and therefore identifying, what we are doing and where we are going next. Thank you.
STAFF MEETING, MONITORING AND CPD OVERVIEW is now accessible by clicking here. It lets you know the focus for staff meetings, monitoring and CPD across the year. As it's subject to change this live document will make it easier to share with others. We'll create a link on the bulletin so you always have access.
PARENTS EVENING Advanced warning that it is now going to take place on Wednesday 28th April between 3.30 and 7.00pm.
LFD TESTING Please continue to take the tests and submit your results to https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result . Karen Slatford needs to know about any tests that come back as inconclusive.

TWITTER Please keep on tweeting the amazing work you're doing. It's great to see and is a quick way to demonstrate to parents and the school community the work taking place across the school.
COURSE FEEDBACK A reminder for all staff that if you attend a course (even via zoom) please can you complete the online form feeding back on how useful the course was. This is our way at school of tracking the impact of any training attended and also highlights what may need sharing with other staff in the school. LADDERS Putting up a display? Please make sure you’re using ladders and not chairs and tables.
Seen anything of a CONCERN? Please fill in the appropriate form in the staff room and hand in to the office as soon as possible.

Use CPOMS to record anything that is of a concern. However, if you feel it's significant and needs to be dealt with asap, please speak to Jane or Gemma.
If you see someone in school that you don't know - without a pass - please challenge them and ask them who they are!
Make sure you're always wearing a pass!
Remind children that staff have a blue pass and visitors have a sticker.
Keep completing these online forms to feedback on courses, trips, visits and drop ins. This includes visits to other schools, collaborative groups…etc. It helps us keep an impact on any CPD that takes place.

✅ Now Try…Explain why…are two great sentence starters (particularly for Maths) when feeding back.
✅ Plan time for pupils to respond to feedback – make sure you demonstrate this .
