- TEACHER ASSESSMENTS ON SIMS Please enter your predicted grades.
- MATRIX MAKER this is a great resource to be used for visual timetables and labels. Mrs Price will be sign posting TAs to this :)
- TA NAME AMENDMENT the new TA is in Year 2 is Louise Walker.
- REPORTS Please continue with these and pass them to the next teacher to proof read. Thank you.
- END OF YEAR JOBS Please continue with these, we need the hall completely clear next week. On the last day, classrooms will need returning back to normal with seats facing forward.
- DELAY OF Y6 RETURN Due to the current circumstances, Year 6 may be only returning for the last two days.
- JUST GIVING We've reached £2000! What an incredible achievement and we're expecting more. Keep promoting with parents and pupils and lets hope we make even more money for our Christmas Party!! :)
- ADMIN APPRENTICE INTERVIEWS will be taking place on Wednesday via Zoom. MK, KS and KB will be interviewing all day. As a result, a TA will be supporting in the office for the day.
- INSET A reminder about the email sent out from MK yesterday. INSET days for next academic year have been altered to fit in the RWI training as a full days training. Net year's INSET days will now be:
- Tuesday 1st September 2020
- Wednesday 2nd September 2020
- Friday 11th September 2020 (NEW) - RWI training
- Friday 9th October 2020 (NEW) - RWI training
- Wednesday 21st July 2021
The INSET on 21st July will be split into two twilights at another point of the year which are yet to be confirmed.
This change means that pupils will be in school on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th July 2021.
If this affects any current holiday bookings made for next year, please let me know asap. Also, please don't book any holidays for these dates.
- SELF ISOLATION AFTER RETURNING FROM HOLIDAY The guidance is constantly changing. However, if you have booked a holiday to a country that you have to isolate for two weeks on return to the UK, please let us know immediately. The LA policy for those that book a holiday knowing that they will have to self isolate during term time will result in unpaid leave. This also applies to October half term...but who knows what the advice from the government will be then??!!
- WORKS OVER THE SUMMER To keep you all updated, we're in the process of hiring a contractor to complete the new ICT and library works over the Summer holidays. We're hoping that it will be complete when children return in September.
- RISK ASSESSMENT A reminder that if you have any issues regarding Health and Safety please speak to a member of SLT immediately.
- STAFF MEETINGS The minutes from all staff meetings can be found here on the staff drive: O:\Staff - Meetings\Minutes - Staff Meetings\2019-2020. Any member of staff is welcome to have a read.

- PLANNING There is no official planning that needs to be handed in and monitored. Our focus is on the routines and activities that are engaging and motivating the children. We therefore need a level of planning that the staff in each bubble can follow, that gives structure and routine to our children and that has educational value. The minimum that should be prepared is a maths activity, an English activity and a topic style/foundation activity with educational value. Please also try and include LOTC activities as well as playing out. Let's get those new clipboards used! We have seen some wonderful activities that our children have engaged in such as kite making and flying so thank you all for your efforts. Please save your planning in staff-Covid-19-planning. Thank you.
- STAFF DEVELOPMENT There is a shortcut on staff desktops so you can easily review the minutes of staff meetings.

REMINDERS
REMINDERS
- ACHIEVEMENT ASSEMBLY will now take place every Monday at 10am via zoom. The link will be emailed out to everyone so that pupils at home and at school can join in. Please choose a class winner and a reason on teams.
- PHONE CALLS HOME Please keep in contact with those at home - a minimum of once every two weeks - and update the google form. If you have any safeguarding concerns follow the usual procedure of reporting on CPOMS and letting GW/JS know. Thank you to the teachers who have worked hard on this.
- STAFF MEETING We'll continue to have these on a Wednesday between 2 and 3pm for the foreseeable. If there are any issues in teachers being able to attend, please let us know.

- LADDERS Putting up a display? Please make sure you’re using ladders and not chairs and tables.
- Seen anything of a CONCERN? Please fill in the appropriate form in the staff room and hand in to the office as soon as possible.
Safeguarding
- Use CPOMS to record anything that is of a concern. However, if you feel it's significant and needs to be dealt with asap, please speak to Jane or Gemma.
- If you see someone in school that you don't know - without a pass - please challenge them and ask them who they are!
- Make sure you're always wearing a pass!
- Remind children that staff have a blue pass and visitors have a yellow pass.
Pupil Voice
- TURTLE COMPETITION The eco council will continue monitoring the class bins for recycling. A class each will be announced as a winner with the class in the lead at the end of the each half term will get a whole class reward.

✅ Library days: Mon – 5/6, Tues – 3/4, Weds – 1/2, Thurs – R.
✅ Now Try…Explain why…are two great sentence starters (particularly for Maths) when feeding back.
✅ Plan time for pupils to respond to feedback – make sure you demonstrate this .
✅ Spellings should be: differentiated, linked to the writing genre if possible and taught using meaningful / fun activities.
✅ Please keep on top of marking - especially cross curricular which should also follow the marking policy.
